Teflon tape, also known as PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) tape or plumber's tape, is a thin, white, non-adhesive film used to seal threaded pipe joints and fittings. Designed to prevent leaks by filling gaps and providing a watertight barrier, it is commonly used in plumbing, gas, air, and hydraulic systems.
