An air cooled chiller is a machine that removes heat from a liquid via a vapour-compression cycle. Air cooled chillers are directly cooled by ambient air being mechanically circulated directly through the machine's condenser coil to expel heat to the atmosphere.The working principle of air cooled chillers is based on the absorption of heat from processed water. Once the air handler system uses up the water, it becomes warm and is returned to the chiller. The chiller's evaporator is utilised to transfer heat away from the water.Screw Chillers are vapour compressor chillers that use a screw compressor to transport the coolant through the system.
