Grade 5 titanium is also known as Ti6Al4V. The chemical composition of grade 5 or alloy Ti6Al4V contains additions of 6% aluminum, 4% vanadium. Astm B337 Titanium Gr 5 Seamless Pipe is familiar to structural piping systems in industries such as marine engineering, aerospace, offshore, and power generation industry. This alloy is what is known as an alpha-beta alloy. Alpha-beta alloys such as the Werkstoff Nr. 3.7165 Hollow Pipe has a microstructure that is a mixture of both alpha or α and beta or β phases.
