Twin Lobe Roots Blower falls under the category of positive displacement blowers. It is constructed with a pair of lobes designed as per the profile. Lobes are also termed as rotors rotate inside the casing.These are also known as Twin Lobe Roots Blower / Vacuum Pump, or pd blowers used in various systems like Mechanical Vapor Recompression as MVR Blower and plants like Sewage Treatment Plants. These twin blowers are High volume-low pressure positive displacement (PD Type) Roots Blowers.A roots blower pump is a positive displacement rotary lobe pump that operates by pumping a fluid with a pair of meshing lobes not unlike a set of stretched gears. Fluid is then trapped in pockets surrounding the lobes and carried from the intake side to the exhaust.
