It combines the strength, density, and heat resistance of tungsten with the superior thermal and electrical conductivity of copper, making it ideal for critical applications where other alloys fail under pressure, temperature, or arc load. Manufacturing Process: Melted & Alloyed Unlike conventional tungsten-copper materials that are produced through sintering and infiltration, WCu 80:20 alloy rods are manufactured by melting both tungsten and copper together at high temperatures to form a homogeneous alloy.
