As a result, two stage pumps can produce a deeper vacuum than single stage pumps.Dual-stage pumps integrate a low vacuum stage and a mated high vacuum stage into one unit. The high vacuum stage collects process gas and transports it to a second, lower vacuum stage, which compresses the gas to atmospheric pressure, helping to increase the pump's vacuum performance.
