Gas flush vacuum sealers are easy to use, highly efficient, automated vacuum packaging systems that help keep your products fresher for longer and extend shelf life. These vacuum sealers work by injecting your packages with a nontoxic gas, like nitrogen, after the oxygen has been vacuumed out. Gas flushing is a process in which various types of inert gas (most commonly nitrogen) or other gases are injected inside, sucked out, and re-injected repetitively to remove oxygen from food packaging.With a barrier bag over the vacuum nozzle, the gas flushes into the bag pushing smaller oxygen particles out. After a set flush time, the gas used to flush can be removed from the bag or remain similar to a potato chip bag. Vacuuming the remaining gas creates a tightly fitting package.
