OVERVIEW Vamp Flex Tester double creases similar to those formed in the upper of a boot during wear are generated repeatedly in specimens of poly (vinyl chloride) upper material by means of a suitable apparatus until cracking of the poly (vinyl Chloride) upper material is observed or until the test pieces survive a specified number of flexure cycles.
