In a horizontal band sealer, the bags or pouches are laying down on the conveyor as they move through the sealer. Some sealers can be adjusted to seal vertically or horizontally as needed.A band sealer is a machine which uses heat and pressure to consistently seal pouch packaging in a continuous fashion. All devices feature a conveyor band or roller system to draw the pouches through the machine to apply a consistent heat and pressure forming a airproof, hermetic seal.A Band Sealer with Nitrogen Flushing, as the name suggests, works by filling nitrogen gas into the package to preserve longevity and then seals the packaging content. This nitrogen filling system is commonly used for packing food equipment. It is also known as the Sealing Band Gas Flushing Unit.
