What is a vacuum packaging machine? A vacuum packaging machine puts product in a film bag, de-aerates the bag by decreased pressure in a vacuum chamber, and seals the bag. It prevents discoloring of product and heightens display effect. To avoid smashing, those with a gas-inflating function are available.Vacuum packing is a method of packaging that removes air from the package prior to sealing. This method involves placing items in a plastic film package, removing air from inside and sealing the package. Shrink film is sometimes used to have a tight fit to the contents.Instead of forming bags from a roll of flat packaging material, this machine is loaded with bags that are already formed into their end shape (premade pouches). The bags are then fed into the machine where they are opened, filled with product, and sealed shut.
