The vibration prompts the workpieces and tumbling media to rub against each other, producing a lustrous look.Vibratory Deburring or Mass Finishing, as it is commonly referred, was introduced commercially in 1957 and is now considered the mainstay of the deburring industry. This manufacturing process is frequently employed to impart a specific finish or remove an undesired burr onto a metal or plastic component.Vibratory finishing machines are designed to create smooth, consistent finishes for multiple parts and products at a time. They're useful for cleaning, deburring and polishing products that must meet specific quality standards. Depending on the project, you may choose to use either wet or dry vibratory finishing.Deburring machines are used to remove burrs by mechanical, electrochemical, and thermal methods. When applying shearing or bending forces up to failure, the material is subjected to plastic deformation. Regions along the edges become bent, elongated, and extruded.
