Vane pumps are uni-directional units with a great versatility and a silent running. Their cartridges are replaceable in a very easy way. Output ports configuration can be customized.Hydraulic vane pumps create pressure by forcing hydraulic fluid into an ever-smaller area before releasing it back into the system. This is achieved through a combination of sliding vanes, inlet and discharge holes, and a drive shaft that's off-center compared to the chamber.Vane pumps are a type of rotary positive displacement pump. A set of paddle-like vanes, mounted radially on a cylindrical rotor, create a number of compartments in which fluid can be trapped and transported through the system.HOW VANE PUMPS WORK. A vane pump uses a rotating cylinder with slots (or rotors) housing a series of vanes that rotate inside the cavity. The rotor is offset in a casing bore, so that when rotated, the vanes slide in and out. This creates expanding and contracting volumes that move liquid through the pump.
