Properties: Non-melting, non-toxic, non-stick, non-wetting, non-flammable, self-extinguishing; lowest coefficient of friction, resistance to radiation, tremendous chemical resistance; Food-grade, biologically inert; high weather resistance, non-ageing, low thermal expansion; Operationally stable over a wide range of cryogenic & elevated temperatures; High dielectric strength, good resistance to UV radiation. Applications: valve seats, pump & valve linings, packing rings, seal covers, bushes, bearings, insulators, piston rings, pipe joints, filters, non-stick moulds, beakers, magnetic stirrers. Industries: Fertilizer plants, thermal power plants, corrosive chemicals, drugs & pharmaceuticals, textile, paper & printing, electronic & space research, pneumatic & hydraulic equipment, processed food, automobile, laboratories, railways, aeronautics, space research.
