Spherical Aluminum Oxide, Spherical AluminaBoratherm SA spherical alumina particles are made from a special fusion process using high-quality ground alumina material. Boratherm SA grades are used in various applications because of their high thermal conductivity, heat resistance, and low thermal expansion. Due to the sphericity of the particles and the possibility to combine grades, one can obtain veryhigh packing densities, resulting in formulations with excellent thermal conduction while maintaining low viscosity and easy application. BORATHER SA grades are used in formulations (thermosets and thermoplastics) for applications where excellent heat dissipation is critical to the operating and longevity of the device/ component, e.g. packaging of batterypacks, plastic parts for housing of electromotors and charging units for EV's.
