C or Z Shape Purline Forming Machine can produce many size of C & Z shape purline. The whole line mainly consists of uncoiler and its base, coil sheet flattening equipment, C & Z shape forming system, punching equipment, post-cutting equipment, hydraulic station, and controlling system.Z purlins or zed purlins are horizontal beams that are designed to form the roof and wall joists of a building shell structure (also view our C section purlins page). They sit between the roofing sheets and the building, acting as a support for the sheet to ensure it is firmly attached and safely in place.A roll forming machine (or metal forming machine) fabricates specific configurations out of long strips of metal, most commonly coiled steel. In most applications, the required cross-section profile of the piece is specifically designed for the machine to bend the metal as necessary.We can manufacture our Z Purlins at 140mm, 175mm and 200mm depths. Our state of the art manufacturing equipment allows us to comfortably manufacture lengths up-to 10m.Z and C purlins have different angles. The C purlin has an angle of 90 degrees, and the Z purlin has an angle that is less than 90 degrees. Due to this, Z purlins are more flexible than C purlins and can be used for a variety of purposes.Taking its name from its shape, the Z Purlin is a light weight perpendicular steel member used to support loads from roof panels and are supported by building rafters. Produced using G-90 galvanized steel, Z purlins can be lapped creating more structural strength to support continuous spans.
