91 000 74051 Bostik Block P530 Boscoseal PU-D A one-component, water-based, fast-setting polyurethane elastomeric waterproofing membrane. It is a liquid-applied coating that cures to form a seamless, flexible, and highly durable protective layer.Primary Function: To provide a high-performance, UV-resistant waterproofing barrier for a wide range of substrates, capable of bridging cracks and accommodating structural movement.Key Features & Benefits:Water-Based & Eco-Friendly: Low VOC, non-flammable, and easier cleanup compared to solvent-based alternatives.High Performance: Withstands 5 bars of hydrostatic pressure and bridges cracks over 3mm.Fast Setting: Recoat in 1-2 hours; ready for tiling in 4-6 hours under ideal conditions (22°C, 50% RH).Excellent Adhesion: Bonds strongly to concrete, masonry, plasterboard, FC sheets, and plywood.UV Resistant: Can be left exposed in external applications with light foot traffic.Damp Surface Tolerant: Can be applied on slightly damp substrates (SSD condition).Questions & Answers (Q&A)Q1: How is this different from other waterproofing membranes?A: Its key differentiator is that it is a water-based, fast-setting polyurethane. This combines the high performance of PU (elasticity, crack bridging) with the safety and ease of use of a water-based product Q2: What is the application process?A:Surface Prep: Concrete must be sound, cured (28 days), and rough (like sandpaper). Clean thoroughly of all dust, grease, and laitance.Priming: Apply one coat of Bostik Bosco Crete/Block A350 Power mix primer and let it dry completely.Mixing: Stir the PU-D thoroughly for 3-4 minutes with a slow-speed drill to avoid air bubbles.Application: Apply the first coat by brush, roller, or spray. Apply the second coat after 1-2 hours in the opposite direction.Curing: Allow 5-7 days for full cure before subjecting it to water or service conditions.Q3: How quickly can I tile over it?A: You can tile over it after 4-6 hours of the final application (at 22°C & 50% RH) using a compatible Bostik tile adhesive.Q4: What is the coverage area?A: To achieve a 1mm Dry Film Thickness (DFT), the consumption is 2.0 - 2.2 kg per square meter in two coats.Q5: Can it be used in permanently submerged areas?A: No. The TDS states it is not recommended for direct permanent immersion unless it is protected by a concrete screed or other approved protection course.Q6: What are the critical precautions?A:Do not apply on dusty or contaminated surfaces.Protect from rain and water for 5-7 days after application.Wear flat-soled rubber shoes during application to avoid damaging the fresh coating.Ensure adequate ventilation during application in confined spaces.Q7: How do I clean tools?A: Clean all tools with water immediately after use before the product sets. Once hardened, cleaning requires solvents like white spirit or xylene.Q8. What is the Bostik Block P530 Boscoseal PU-D approx. price?CIVILIZEMART price generally ranges ₹10000 – ₹12000 per PIECE
