eDot Surveyors are either Masters themselves or surveyors who have been trained by the Masters in the eDot team and boast of nearly ten years experience in the surveying field. In the Marine Division of eDot Solutions, every job is important ‐ we ensure that during draft surveys, all tanks are sounded in our presence, including the FW and bunker tanks. The importance of a correct "constant" can hardly be undermined during the initial survey and for which a six sided draft properly corrected and calculated mean of means is used. Masters are encouraged to either press up the ballast tanks or keep them empty with the vessel as close as possible to an even keel and always upright. The reading of the draft by itself is no ordinary task in the usually prevailing swell, when vessels are loading at the anchorage, which is common practice in Goa. Reading the draft correctly will mean proper training and experience of the attending surveyors with each draft mark being read multiple times. We can proudly claim to be the right people for the job.
