Product Description
A solar water pump system is essentially an electrical pump system in which the electricity is provided by one or several PhotoVoltaic (PV) panels. A typical solar powered pumping system consists of a solar panel array that powers an electric motor, which in turn powers a bore or surface pump.A solar water pump is an application of photovoltaic technology which converts solar energy into electricity to run the pumping system thereby, replacing erratic grid supply and pollution-causing diesel-powered versions.The main advantage of the solar water pump is that it uses sunlight at no cost. Just as solar water pumps reduce dependence on electricity or diesel, once installed, there is no recurrence cost of electricity or fuel. Compared to conventional water pumps, solar water pumps require very little maintenance.
