Product Description
A solar water pump system is essentially an electrical pump system in which the electricity is provided by one or several PhotoVoltaic (PV) panels.A typical solar powered pumping system consists of a solar panel array that powers an electric motor, which in turn powers a bore or surface pump.Single-phase pumps are primarily used in cases when the pump is going to be turned on and off multiple times in a day. Single-phase pumps also find extensive usage in remote locations where electricity is not easily available from the electrical grid.The system operates on power generated using solar PV (photovoltaic) system. The photovoltaic array converts the solar energy into electricity, which is used for running the motor pump set. The pumping system draws water from the open well, bore well, stream, pond, canal etc.
