Scotch® Rubber Splicing Tape 23 is a highly conformable 0.76 mm thick, self-amalgamating EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) base for rubber splicing. It is designed to splice and terminate cables with overload temperatures of 266 degrees F(130 degree C), due to dissipating heat affectively. The snakeskin liner is easily removed when applying the tape, to allow the self-fusing ethylene propylene rubber, high insulating voltage tape. Features and Benefits• Features a special polyester liner that will not stick when unwinding• Stretch up to 100% for void-free, moisture-resistant insulation• Non-vulcanising and shelf stable• Highly conformable, self-amalgamating EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) based tape• Ideal for moisture sealing electrical connections• Black• Self-fusing, ethylene propylene rubber backing and highly conformable, rubber-resin adhesive• Temperature rated for continuous adhesion to 90°C• Stretch up to 100% for void-free, moisture-resistant insulation• Special polyester liner keeps tape protected and clean during application• Non-vulcanising and shelf stable• ASTM Approved & RoHS 2002/65/EC Compliant
