Technically, high pressure boilers are those that operate at pressures greater than 15 pounds per square inch (PSI) when special construction techniques are required. The usual industrial range is from around 250 PSI to up to 1,000 PSI.High pressure boiler means a boiler in which steam or other vapor is generated at a pressure of more than 15 psig or water is heated to a temperature greater than 250°F and a pressure greater than 160 psig for use external to itself.Water Tube Boiler: In this boiler, the water is present inside the tubes and the hot flue gases surround them. They are high-pressure boilers and the operating pressure is about 250 bar.
