50 KG JACKETED RIBBON BLENDER – MICRON INDIAProduct Description
The 50 KG Jacketed Ribbon Blender by Micron India is designed for uniform mixing of powders and granules while allowing heating or cooling through a jacket surrounding the mixing trough. It is suitable for processes where temperature control is important during blending.
The machine consists of a horizontal U-shaped trough fitted with inner and outer helical ribbons. The ribbons circulate material in opposite directions to promote uniform mixing. The jacket can be configured for hot water, thermal fluid, steam, or chilled water, depending on the process requirements and machine design.
It is suitable for pharmaceutical, chemical, food-processing, cosmetic, and other industrial applications.

Jacket System – Heating and Cooling
The jacket surrounds the mixing trough and transfers heat to or from the product through the vessel wall.
Heating: Hot water, steam, or thermal fluid can be circulated through a suitable jacket design.
Cooling: Chilled water or another compatible cooling medium can remove heat from the product.
Temperature monitoring: Sensors and controls can be added where required.
Jacket connections: Inlet and outlet sizes are selected according to the heat-transfer medium and required flow.
The jacket design and operating pressure must be suitable for the selected heating or cooling medium.
Working Principle
The required quantity of powder or granules is loaded into the mixing trough.
The motor drives the ribbon assembly, moving material along the trough and across the mixing zone.
A heating or cooling medium circulates through the jacket to control the product temperature.
Mixing time and temperature are controlled according to the formulation and process requirements.
The blended material is discharged through the bottom outlet.
