Working Principle

The ingredients are loaded into the horizontal mixing trough. When the machine starts, the inner and outer helical ribbons move the material in opposing axial directions while also circulating it across the trough, producing a consistent blend.

The VFD allows the operator to adjust the mixing speed. The jacket transfers heat to or from the product through the selected heating or cooling medium. A temperature sensor measures the process temperature, and the temperature controller regulates the connected heating or cooling system when configured for automatic control.

Important: The jacket controls product temperature indirectly. Actual product temperature and uniformity depend on the material, batch size, jacket design, heat-transfer medium, and mixing conditions.
