Groove Cutting is the technique to provide control joints in concrete to guide cracks along a predetermined line and to help accommodate the movement of the concrete and avoid Cracking of Concrete and long-term damage.A concrete saw (also known as a consaw, road saw, cut-off saw, slab saw or quick cut) is a power tool used for cutting concrete, masonry, brick, asphalt, tile, and other solid materials.It is intended to cut cross and other grooves in wood by employing an S-shaped cutter in combination with two cir cular saws, these three tools being fixed on a horizontal revolving mandrel, which can be adjusted to suit whatever depth it may be re quisite to cut the groove.Concrete grooving is the process of creating patterned grooves along concrete surfaces. Grooving is usually performed on bridge decks, airport runways, parking desks, and other paved surfaces in order to accommodate high-speed traffic.
