The base plate adjustable base-jack are used to secure the pipe to the ground. Adjustable base plates are used for precise rise of pipe especially on uneven surfaces.Base plates are structural elements at the bottom of columns to spread the concentrated load over a larger supporting area, so that the bearing stresses are under the acceptable limits.Base Plate is Mainly Used to Spread The Load Onto The Sole Plates. All uprights or standards of a scaffold are to be mounted on a steel base plate. The thickness of the steel base plate shall be a minimum of 6mm and the size shall be 150 mm x 150mm.The term base plate is commonly understood as referencing a steel plate placed beneath a column to distribute applied loads to a concrete member. The plate is assumed to act as a cantilever beam fixed at the edges of the column, defined by the geometry of a structural profile.
