Air Shafts, also commonly known as Air Bars or Air Mandrels, are used in the manufacturing processes for fitting into a core onto which materials such as paper, card and plastic film are wound.His plans involve building an air shaft through the roof of the control center equipped with a solar powered fan to draw air deeper into the complex.Ventilation shafts (or vent shafts) are similar to an exhaust fan for the wastewater system. Vent shafts allow air to enter and exit the wastewater system, which is important to help the system work properly.MEA ventilation shafts are made from white, glass-fibre-reinforced polyester (GRP) and can be easily installed by one person. They are used for ventilation openings below ground level, e.g. boiler rooms, tumble driers.
