The Atta Chakki is a very high RPM machine which the flour by destroying the insects before packing thereby increasing the shelf life of the flour. It also acts as a high speed mixer to mix Micro-Nutrients and other additives with the flour before packing.In India, grinding stones (Chakki) were used to grind grains and spices. These consist of a stationary stone cylinder upon which a smaller stone cylinder rotates. Smaller ones, for household use, were operated by two people. Larger ones, for community or commercial use, used livestock to rotate the upper cylinder.Stone grinder or Industrial atta chakki is used for grinding of wheat, , Maize to make whole flour. It can also be used in of pulses. Stone grinders have two circular grinding stones in a closed body. One stone turns against a stationary stone and with this action grinding of grains takes place.
