In operation, the material is fed onto the narrow side of a flat porous deck, sloped in two directions and vibrated with a straight-line reciprocating motion. Low-pressure air, blown upward through the deck, fluidity and stratifies the material according to differences in the terminal velocity of the particles.Gravity Separator machine is for separating products from impurities, products with very slight difference in sizes and were separated previously like (weak, damaged, lost moisture and discoloured products) . With this cleaning process the quality is increased. Effective separation in sesame and cumin products.When ground ores are fed into the suspension, the langue particles, having a lower density, tend to float and are removed as tailing, whereas the particles of valuable minerals, having higher density, sink and are also removed.Specific Gravity Separator is used for Separating/Grading of Seeds/Grain and Other Free Flowing granular material based on their Specific Gravity. That is if the size of the grain is same it can separate the product based on their weight and vice versa.The gravity separation table, or air table, is commonly used to separate particles by weight and density. A separation table can be used for any dry material as it moves on a “fluidity” bed of air across the table.Density separation is achieved with basically two components, mechanical vibration and air fluoridation.Centrifugal separation can be regarded as an extension of gravity separation, as the settling rates of particles are increased under the influence of centrifugal force. It can, however, be used to separate emulsions which are normally stable in a gravity field.The gravity separation process is also known as hydraulic method or levitation. The gravity separation process is based on the differences in the gravity of the ore and the langue particles that are present in the ore.
