The preparation process includes cutting, de-stoning, refining and packing. In case of an aseptic product, the pulp is sterilized and packed in aseptic bags. The refined pulp is also packed in cans, hermetically sealed and retorted. Frozen pulp is pasteurized and deep-frozen in plate freezers.Mango pulp is a pseudoplastic liquid composed of starch components, fiber (i.e., pectin and other fibers) and soluble components (i.e., sugar and organic acids and water as a solvent). Most of the water is bound to these components to form a viscous pulp.Fruit pulper with motor is used to extract pulp from fruits, vegetables and other pulpy items. During the operation, the seeds and skin get separated and discharges through a chute. It is commonly used in canning industry and ayurvedic medicine manufacturing units.
