Description Mahaguard NMB is a liquid bituminous elastomeric waterproofing membrane, specially designed from a blend of special resin and rubber. It is an extremely flexible coating that can be efficiently applied to any thickness by roller or squeegee creating a fully adhered waterproofing coating with no wastage. It is water based waterproofing coating. Features / Advantages • A highly elastic product, and cures to a rubber like membrane capable of withstanding severe cases of expansion & contraction. • More durable than normal asphalt coating and lasts longer than most other coatings. • Superior adhesion properties ensure durable bonding to substrate and resistance to peeling, chipping and separation. • Unique property of adapting itself over the irregular contours of the deck and forming a waterproof and impervious membrane. • Single component, cold applied and does not require mixing and heating. • It has good anti-root property. • It has excellent adhesion to most of all concrete substrates • It can be used with proper reinforcement / sandwich coat. Typical Application • It is used for concrete roofs, polyurethane foam slabs, polyester built up roofs, maintenance of existing roofs, masonry and concrete walls bathrooms, basements, bridges, decks, podium areas, metal surfaces, brickwork, asphalt & corrugated asbestos etc. • It can be used as sandwich membrane in new construction and as a surface treatment on existing slabs. • Protective coating in infrastructure projects in civil engineering on non-trafficked areas.
