The Resotech Pendulum Impact Testing Machine is a high-rigidity, manually operated destructive testing apparatus designed to evaluate the toughness, brittleness, and energy absorption characteristics of materials (primarily metals) under sudden impact loads.The machine consists of a heavy, shock-absorbing cast iron base, a structural vertical pillar, a balanced pendulum rod assembly, and a calibrated analog dial. It measures the exact amount of kinetic energy absorbed by a standardized notched specimen when struck by a swinging pendulum hammer. By reading the residual swing height via a mechanical dummy pointer on the analog scale, operators can accurately calculate the material's impact strength.
