Sometimes referred to as “servo press brakes,” hybrid hydraulic-electric brakes use hydraulic pressure to drive the ram but control the direction of the ram movement via AC servomotors. CNC press brakes or CNC Metal benders are essentially machines designed to bend sheet metal and sheet metal components to various profiles and designs.The machine works with the help of hydraulic or electric force. Depending on the type of your machine (type 1 or type 2) the force will be applied to the respective moving part of the machine. This allows the moving part to press the metal sheet against the fixed part, thus creating the desired bend.A press brake is a machine used for bending sheet metal and metal plate, most commonly sheet metal. It forms predetermined bends by clamping the workpiece between a matching top tool and bottom die.
