CNC Turning is a manufacturing process in which bars of material are held in a chuck and rotated while a tool is fed to the piece to remove material to create the desired shape, CNC turning is a manufacturing process that involves holding bars of material in a chuck and rotating them while feeding a tool to the piece to remove material until the desired shape is achieved. As the desired shape is achieved through the removal of material, it is also known as subtraction machining.A mill/turn machine is a hybrid CNC (computer numerical control) machine that combines both milling (tool rotating) and turning (workpiece rotating) functionalities into one fast, powerful, and flexible machine that can complete complex operations faster and with greater accuracy than traditional machining technologies .Turning is a machining process where a lathe is used to rotate the metal while a cutting tool moves in a linear motion to remove metal along the diameter, creating a cylindrical shape. The cutting tool can be angled differently to create different forms.
