The con-rod connects the piston to the crankshaft to transfer combustion pressure to the crankpin. There are bearing portions at both ends, the piston side is called the small end, and the crankshaft side, the big end.Boring machine, device for producing smooth and accurate holes in a workpiece by enlarging existing holes with a bore, which may bear a single cutting tip of steel, cemented carbide, or diamond or may be a small grinding wheel.Vertical fine Boring Machine is specially designed for fine and accurate machining of cylinder bores. Manufacturer ensures years of trouble free operation as every phase of manufacturing is under strict quality control. Base and column are of high grade casting.Fine boring operations are performed to complete an existing hole and to achieve a close hole tolerance and correct positioning with high quality surface finish. Machining is carried out with small cutting depths, generally below 0.5 mm (0.020 inch).Single-point tools are attached to a rotating spindle within a boring head. These move in circles around the edges of the existing holes. By adjusting the boring head, you can control the tool sweeping around the diameter of the hole.
