By feeding a large roll of your chosen material through the slitter's unwind, your material will then unwind and be slit into various widths, before being rewound into cores of various widths.There are two distinct types of slitting machines: roll slitters and slitter rewinders. Both are commonly referred to as slitting machines.The slitting method is performed to measure the non-uniform residual stresses over the thickness. Additionally, an extended finite element modeling is carried out to simulate the slitting process.
