Demineralised Water treatment plant is based on Ion Exchange technology. It comprises of minimum two vessels filled with cation and anion exchange resin respectively. It removes 99% of ions present in water and hence reduces TDS / EC by 99%.DI grade water, or Type II water, is purified water that has had almost all its mineral ions removed, such as cations like sodium, calcium, iron, and copper, and anions like chloride and sulfate.Deionised water, or DI water, is water that has had all (or most) ions removed. The ions present in water can often be picked up through soil, such as calcium or sodium.
