Product Details
Made from various paper-based materials, paper plates are manufactured to be used for casual dinners, picnics, and any events where the plate is to be discarded. There are a wide variety of different plates available that vary in size, the way they are formed, and the materials used to create the texture of the plate.To make a typical paper plate, the wood is broken down into tiny pulp fibers which are first filtered to remove dirt and other contaminants. The pulp is then bleached white and placed into special molds to form its signature circular shape. Lastly, the pulp is pressed, dried, and stamped with colorful designs.In a manufacturing process, steel plates are annealed to make them less brittle. Generally plates or coils can be hot rolled upto 3mm and even 2.5mm thickness sometimes. If thickness below 2.5mm is required, generally coil and sheets are cold rolled to achieve the desired quality, size and thickness.
