The DUNGS DMV-D 507/11 is a high-performance Dual Modular Valve that integrates two normally closed solenoid valves into a single compact housing. The "D" in the model name stands for Fast Opening, meaning both valves open in less than one second when energized. 1. Key Design Features Dual Valve Safety: Both Valve 1 (V1) and Valve 2 (V2) are Class A, Group 2 automatic shut-off valves. They can be wired to operate independently or in parallel. Main Volume Adjustment: The valve includes a manual throttle for the main gas flow. On the DMV-D 507/11, this adjustment is located on Valve 1 (V1) (unlike the smaller 503 model where it is on V2). Modular Versatility: It is designed for "flange-on" accessories. You can mount pressure switches (GW...A5), valve proving systems (VPS 504), or ignition gas flanges directly to the valve body without additional piping. 3. Setup & Adjustments To adjust the gas flow on the DMV-D 507/11: Locate the adjustment screw on the top of the Valve 1 (V1) solenoid. To Increase Flow (+): Turn the adjustment screw counter-clockwise. To Decrease Flow (-): Turn the adjustment screw clockwise. Once the desired flow is set, tighten the locking screw to prevent accidental changes due to vibration. 4. Comparison: DMV-D vs. DMV-DLE If you see a similar model labeled DMV-DLE 507/11, the "LE" stands for Slow Opening. While the "D" version (this one) snaps open immediately, the "DLE" version takes about 20 seconds to open fully, which is often preferred for smoother burner ignition (soft start). 5. Maintenance & Spare Parts Flanges: Note that the valve body is sold separately from the connection flanges. You will need a set of Rp or NPT flanges (1/2", 3/4", or 1") to mount it to your gas line. Replacement Coil: If the valve fails to open, the solenoid coil can be replaced. The typical part number for a 230V coil is 213811 (Magnet No. 1111). Internal Sieve: If you notice a pressure drop, check the internal sieve for debris. It is located at the inlet of V1.
