The DUNGS MB-ZRDLE 407 B01 is a compact "GasMultiBloc" designed for two-stage burner operation. It is the smallest of the threaded MultiBloc series that supports dual-load (Low Fire/High Fire) functionality. It integrates a filter, a pressure regulator, and two safety shut-off valves into a single housing. 1. Functional Adjustments The "ZRDLE" designation means this unit is highly adjustable to ensure a smooth transition between firing rates: Pressure Regulator: The base outlet pressure is set via the adjustment screw on the regulator body (typically under a blue or black plastic cap). Stage 1 (Partial Volume): Located on the Valve 2 solenoid. This sets the gas flow for the "Low Fire" or ignition phase. Stage 2 (Main Volume): The large adjustment screw on top of Valve 2 sets the maximum gas flow for "High Fire." Fast Stroke: Adjusted by the internal screw under the small cap on the hydraulic brake. This allows a quick burst of gas for the initial spark before the slow ramp-up begins. 3. Connection & Flanges The MB 407 does not have threads on the valve body itself. You must use the appropriate flange kit to connect it to your pipe: Rp 1/2" Flange: Part No. 221060 Rp 3/4" Flange: Part No. 221061 4. Comparison: 407 vs. 410/412 Flow Rate: The 407 is designed for smaller boilers/burners (up to approx. 300–400 kW depending on gas type and pressure drop). Physical Size: It is significantly more compact than the 410 or 412, making it ideal for package burners with limited space. 5. Maintenance Checklist Integrated Filter: Contains a 0.8 mm mesh sieve. It is located behind the side cover plate. It should be checked annually; a clogged filter is the most common cause of the burner failing to reach high fire. Hydraulic Brake: If the valve "snaps" open instantly to full volume instead of ramping up slowly, the hydraulic brake has likely failed and the top unit should be replaced. Leak Testing: The MB 407 is pre-drilled to accept a VPS 504 Valve Proving System on the side for automatic leak detection.
