Functional Components The MB-DLE 410 is designed to provide a complete gas train solution in one block: Filter Section: An internal fine-mesh sieve protects the regulator and valve seats from debris. Pressure Regulator: Maintains a constant outlet pressure regardless of inlet pressure fluctuations. Valve 1 (V1): A fast-opening, fast-closing safety valve. Valve 2 (V2): A slow-opening safety valve with a hydraulic brake and an adjustable fast stroke. 3. Setting Up the Adjustments There are three primary adjustments on the MB-DLE 410 that must be set during commissioning: A. Pressure Regulator (Output Pressure) Located under a black protective cap on the regulator section. Increase (+): Turn clockwise. Decrease (-): Turn counter-clockwise. B. Main Volume Restrictor (Maximum Flow) Located on top of the Valve 2 (V2) solenoid. It limits the total amount of gas the valve can pass when fully open. Setting: Loosen the pan head screw on the adjustment cap and turn the knob. C. Fast Stroke (Initial Lift) This determines how much the valve "jumps" open instantly before the slow-opening ramp begins. Unscrew the small black adjustment cap on the very top of the hydraulic brake. Invert the cap and use it as a tool to turn the internal screw. Clockwise: Decreases the fast stroke (less initial gas). Counter-clockwise: Increases the fast stroke (more initial gas). 4. Common Accessories & Maintenance Flanges: The unit is "flangeless." You must use the Rp 1" or Rp 1 1/4" flange sets to connect it to your piping. Pressure Switch: Usually paired with a GW A5 or GW A6 pressure switch to monitor for "Low Gas" conditions. Filter Replacement: The filter is accessible by removing the side cover plates. It is recommended to check/replace the filter annually or if a significant pressure drop is observed. Replacement Solenoid: If the valve fails to open, the coil (typically Type 100/110) can be replaced without removing the valve from the gas line.
