It is most commonly found on medium-sized industrial and commercial burners (roughly 150 kW to 800 kW) where a "Low Fire" and "High Fire" sequence is required. Functional Adjustments Setting up an MB-ZRDLE 410 requires balancing four different settings to ensure the burner transitions smoothly between stages: Pressure Regulator (S20): Located on the regulator block. Use a screwdriver to set the base pressure between 4 and 20 mbar. Stage 1 (Partial Volume): This is set on the Valve 2 (V2) solenoid. It determines the gas flow for "Low Fire." It must be set higher than the minimum required for a stable flame but lower than high fire. Stage 2 (Main Volume): The large adjustment screw on top of V2. This limits the total gas flow for "High Fire" operation. Fast Stroke (Initial Lift): The internal screw under the small cap on the hydraulic brake. This sets the initial "jump" of gas to ensure the burner lights immediately when the spark occurs. 3. Connection Flanges The 410 body is "flangeless." If voltage is present, check the internal 0.8 mm filter; a partial clog often allows enough gas for low fire but chokes the flow at high fire. "Hard Ignition": If the burner ignites with a "boom" or vibration, the Fast Stroke is likely set too high. Reduce the initial lift by turning the internal screw clockwise. "Instant Opening": If V2 snaps open immediately instead of ramping up over several seconds, the hydraulic brake has failed and the top unit needs replacement. 5. Maintenance Accessory Because the MB-ZRDLE 410 is a two-stage valve, it is highly recommended to pair it with a DUNGS VPS 504. The 410 body is pre-drilled with ports to allow the VPS to bolt directly to the side, providing an automatic safety check of the valve seats before every burner start.
