The DUNGS MB-ZRDLE 415 B01 S20 / S50 is a "GasMultiBloc" multifunctional gas control. It is an all-in-one unit that integrates a filter, pressure regulator, and two safety shut-off valves into a single compact housing. The "ZR" designation is the most important part of this model number: it stands for Two-Stage Function, allowing the burner to operate at two different firing rates (e.g., Low Fire and High Fire). 1. Model Breakdown (Nomenclature) MB: MultiBloc (The product family). ZR: Two-stage operation with adjustable partial volume for the first stage. D: Includes a Main Volume Restrictor (to set maximum flow). LE: Adjustable opening behavior (Slow Opening for soft starts). 415: Nominal diameter DN 40 (typically uses 1-1/2" flanges). B01: Design generation and valve configuration (V1 and V2 controlled together). S20: Outlet pressure range of 4 to 20 mbar. 2. Key Functional Adjustments Because this is a two-stage valve, it has more adjustment points than a standard unit: Stage 1 (Partial Volume): Adjusted via the setting on the hydraulic brake/solenoid. This determines the gas flow for the "low fire" or ignition stage. Stage 2 (Main Volume): Adjusted via the main volume restrictor. This sets the "high fire" or maximum output. Fast Stroke: You can adjust the initial "jump" of Valve 2. This allows a quick burst of gas for reliable ignition before the slow-opening ramp-up begins. Pressure Regulator: The output pressure is set using the adjustment screw on the regulator section (usually under a lead-sealable cap). 4. Installation & Accessories Flanges: The MB 415 requires Rp 1-1/2" or NPT 1-1/2" flanges for pipe connection. Pressure Switch: Usually comes equipped with a GW A5 or GW A6 pressure switch mounted on the inlet to monitor minimum gas pressure. Valve Proving (VPS): The valve body is designed to accept a DUNGS VPS 504, which automatically checks the valves for leaks before every burner start. 5. Maintenance Note The MB-ZRDLE 415 features an integrated fine-mesh sieve (0.8 mm). Unlike smaller MultiBlocs where you can pull the filter out of the side, on the 415, you must typically dismount the unit or the inlet flange to replace the filter element if it becomes clogged.
