The DUNGS MB-ZRDLE 407 B01 S20 is a two-stage GasMultiBloc designed for precise fuel control in small to medium-sized burners. The S20 suffix is a critical specification—it defines the outlet pressure range of the integrated pressure regulator. 1. The "S20" Specification The S20 designation means the internal spring is designed for a low-pressure output: Adjustable Range: 4 to 20 mbar (approx. 1.6 to 8 inches of water column). Application: This is the standard range for most atmospheric and fan-assisted burners operating on low-pressure natural gas or LPG. Note: If your system requires a higher manifold pressure (e.g., 20–50 mbar), you would need the S50 version instead. 2. Technical Specifications Feature Specification Max. Adjusting the MB-ZRDLE 407 S20 Because this is a two-stage valve with a slow-opening feature, there are four adjustment points: Pressure Regulator (S20): Located on the regulator block. Use a screwdriver to turn the setting screw under the protective cap. This sets your base burner pressure. Stage 1 (Partial Volume): Located on the Valve 2 (V2) head. This sets the "Low Fire" gas volume. Stage 2 (Main Volume): The main volume restrictor on top of the valve sets the "High Fire" limit. Fast Stroke (Initial Lift): Sets the "jump" for ignition. Turn the screw under the small cap on the hydraulic brake. 4. Key Accessories To install or maintain the MB 407 S20, you typically need: Flange Kit: Since the body is flangeless, you need the Rp 1/2" or Rp 3/4" mounting kit. Pressure Switch: A GW A5 or GW A6 is often mounted to the inlet port to monitor for low gas pressure. VPS 504: This unit is fully compatible with the VPS 504 Valve Proving System for automatic leak detection. 5. Troubleshooting: "Burner Won't Reach High Fire" If you are using an S20 model and can't get enough pressure/flow: Check the Spring: Ensure you aren't trying to push the regulator beyond 20 mbar. If you are, you'll need the S50 version. Check the Filter: A dirty internal sieve is the #1 cause of pressure drops. Remove the side plate on the 407 to inspect the 0.8 mm mesh. Check the Stage 2 Signal: Ensure the solenoid for the second stage is actually receiving voltage from the burner controller.
