An electric tamping rammer is a handheld, motorized soil compactor that uses a 2.2kW–3kW electric motor to deliver high-impact, vertical, "jumping" blows (600-700 BPM) for packing down soil, sand, and gravel. Ideal for confined spaces like trenches and indoor construction, it is noise-free, emission-free, and requires lower maintenance compared to petrol models.
