The project cost includes plant, machinery and working capital is approximately 30,00,000 Rs. This estimation is based on machinery with the production of 12,000 bricks per shift.Main ingredients include fly ash, water, quicklime or lime sludge, cement, aluminium powder and gypsum. Autoclave increases the hardness of the block by promoting quick curing of the cement. Gypsum acts as a long term strength gainer.The reduction in water leads to improved strength. Because some fly ash contains larger or less reactive particles than Portland cement, significant hydration can continue for six months or longer, leading to much higher ultimate strength than concrete without fly ash.
