This lens is made from high-quality fused silica (quartz) with double-sided anti-reflective (AR) coatings, which lets the laser beam pass through with minimal loss while dramatically reducing reflections and thermal stress. Its 34 mm diameter and 5 mm thickness make it a standard size for BOCI cutting heads, and it's designed to shield the sensitive internal optics — like collimating and focusing components — from debris, molten spatter, smoke, and contamination generated during cutting operations.
