Product Details
A thermal conductivity tester determines a material's capability to conduct heat (k). It applies a known heat flux or temperature gradient across a specimen using hot and cold plates or specialized sensors like transient hot wires and flat discs. By measuring the resulting temperature change and heat flow over time, the device calculates thermal resistance and conductivity via built-in microprocessor algorithms.
