5000S is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and Hami® is in position to supply and export it, directly from REFINERY through its trading services according to the following specification and technical properties.
In addition, it is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) grade that is specially designed for monofilament applications, such as fishing nets, ropes, agricultural nets, tar-paulins and woven sacks. It has good processability with high tenacity and a good balance of mechanical strength and high production rates. It is also well suited for multiply applications, like stretched filaments.
5000S POLYETHYLENE HDPE INJECTION MOLDING is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) grade that is specially designed for monofilament applications, such as fishing nets, ropes, agricultural nets, tar-paulins and woven sacks. This product has good processability with high tenacity, and a good balance of mechanical strength and high production rates. It also has excellent flowability and high stiffness, which make it suitable for housewares and toys applications.
Some of the industries that use this product are fishing, agriculture, textile, packaging and consumer goods. These industries benefit from the durability, flexibility and resistance of this product to environmental factors such as water, heat and chemicals.
The technical specifications of 5000S product are as follows:
- Melt index: 0.8 g/10 min
- Density: 0.954 g/cm³
- Vicat softening point: 125 °C
- Flexural modulus: 1100 MPa
- Tensile strength at yield: 24 MPa
- Tensile strength at break: 39 MPa
- H.D.T: 75 °C
- Notched Izod impact @ 23 °C: 400 J/m
