Category: Transformer Oil Filter.Transformer oil filtration is a process through which sludge, dissolved moisture, and gasses are removed to secure the oil's quality and performance. Transformer oil is susceptible to degradation as time advances since it is exposed to acid, dust, and moisture.The purpose of a transformer oil filter is to degass/dry the oil and remove any moisture absorbed. This is done at low pressure and at a temperature of about 70 degrees Celsius. The Transorfilter also filters the oil to get rid of particles.
