These are compact, direct-acting valves commonly found in gas burners and heating systems. 1. Model Suffix Breakdown The letter after "VE" (e.g., VE4025A) defines the valve's operation and adjustment features: VE...A: Fast Opening / Fast Closing. Standard On/Off valve with no flow adjustment. VE...B: Fast Opening / Fast Closing with Flow Adjustment. Includes a screw on top to manually limit the maximum gas flow. VE...C: Slow Opening / Fast Closing. Includes an adjustable hydraulic damper for a soft start (opening time variable up to 30s). VE...S: Normally Open (NO). Typically used as relief valves; they close when powered and open when power is lost. 2. Common Models & Sizes The digits following "VE40" usually indicate the DN (Diameter Nominal) pipe size.
